Introduction
Corrupted monstrosities, or also called Exiled, are people who gave up on their humanity and embraced the Corruption entirely. Their bodies became changed, personality twisted at best but in most cases, it was completely erased. It does not matter who they were before, as they are mere remnants of their former selves.The Corruption seemingly erases one's humanity and conscience, leaving only animalistic instincts and desire for self-preservation. Corrupted monstrosities that were created from people living on Atocites seems to remember a lot about their life on the Atocite, making them a dangerous individual. Due to this, people who are on the edge of becoming Corrupted monstrosities are often killed by their peers before that can happen.
Occasionally, an alpha can appear among the monstrosities. This alpha is not chosen based on physical prowess but rather on the amount of knowledge they remember about their most favorite prey: The humans.

Creation
Corruption slowly accumulates in an individual, taking hold during the first exposure to its raw form.During the first exposure, the Corruption also creates a Corrupted limit for the affected individual, often taking something from them to use as leverage against them in the future. The individuals with any amount of Corruption in their bodies are tormented by the voice. A voice that lures them, taunt them and otherwise attempt to make them give up parts of their "weak" human side.
The weakness and conditions of the Corrupted limit can be temporarily lifted when the individual yield to the Corruption, resulting in various moments of empowerment. However, this empowerment is only a return of what the individual already lost to the Corruption. And because with each yield the individual loses more and more, the empowerment also appears to be stronger. This yield can be both psychological and physical. While the physical is often temporal or permanent weakness, the psychological yields can result in fabricated or removed memories, which are then further used to twist the morality and views of Corrupted individuals. Those who often listen to the Corruption or seek its empowerment instead of making up for the losses start losing themselves to their inner animal, their body starts changing and mutating. In the end, only an empowered shell remains.
This process can be both quick and fast, and extremely slow and painful depending on the individual and their mental state. These shells are the Corrupted monstrosities.
Visuals
Visuals vary per monstrosity. While some grow sharp fangs, teeth, and hair, others grow chitin-like armor. Some become as solid as a rock while others become part of various root networks and gain some amount of control over certain trees. The changes are drastic and so serious that those who become Corrupted monstrosities are no longer considered humans. Even though they are more of an animal than a human, some of the habits from their previous life still apply. If the monstrosities kill someone, they will decide whether or not they will use the equipment and possessions of their victim.Area of habitation
The Corrupted monstrosities reside on The Ground below. A place otherwise lethal to prolonged human presence.It may be the fact the Corrupted monstrosities are no longer humans, or that they are closer to the monsters of Atocitera instead of the humans they used to be. Unfortunately, due to the high potential of humans, the Corrupted monstrosities are able to adapt to any sort of environment. Making them almost an omnipresent threat.
Life and combat habits
The Corrupted monstrosities are more than capable of pact hunting of various other monsters all around Atocitera. They are luckily unable to muster any will or spirit as they gave up on these before they turned into what they are. Due to that, they are unable to use any sort of Flow Abilities. A fact the monstrosities do not care about, as they are aware that monsters consider Flow Crystals as a delicacy, making the surplus crystals always a great bait for their next prey. An inexperienced and even some veteran Raiders often mistake the bait prepared by Corrupted monstrosities as a naturally occurred crystallization. Falling right into an ambush. Fortunately, as long as the pact does not have an alpha that remembers the Raiding strategies and tactics, these strategies are highly efficient against the Corrupted monstrosities, who are no longer able of thinking so far ahead.
