Harbinger of gathering

The winters on Atocitera may be tough, even more so after the Cataclysm.
But getting through the darkness means seeing some of the absolutely gorgeous wonders this world offers.
The Harbinger of gathering, also called Call of the tournament, is one of the sights to behold.
Some people are lucky enough to see it thrice during their life, and each is a case to remember.

Description

The Harbinger of gathering also known as Call of the tournament is a geyser reaching up to a few hundred meters high.

It got its name from the fact that depending on the height of the Harbinger of gathering, it can be calculated how many Grand Atocites will be meeting that year. Its second name is derived from its peak heigh symbolizing the gathering of all six Grand Atocites, preluding the Tournament of minds.
This geyser is created when water falls down from the Grand Atocites into the six entry points to the cave system connecting said points and the Harbinger's spring.
The heat from magma under the deep cave system heats the water before the Harbinger shoots out.

Occurrence

The amount of water required for the Harbinger to be created in its full strength is massive. The only moment when the cave system under Harbinger is sufficiently filled is when snow accumulated during winter melts and the six Grand Atocites are each moving above one of the six entry points to the cave system.
While the same spring hosting the Harbinger of gathering shoots geysers often, it is only once in twenty years that all six of the entry points to the cave system are bombarded by water from the Grand Atocites waterfalls. Outside of the one in twenty years, the geyser is still created, but in varying heights.

Importance

Individual Grand Atocites monitor when they are passing one of the cave system's entry points. Thanks to that they can check the strength of the Harbinger of gathering at the moment of passing. Its strength will tell them how many Grand Atocites will be meeting during that year.
