Common slang for the Great Diamonds that reach 1.5 miles high and surround the dragonborn capital city of Avi Shai.
When the Dragonborn arrived they found the diamonds already in place, clearly visible as they are a mile and half tall each.
Each resonates with a different element and in truth is a large connection to the associated planes.
