Witch doctors travel through their tribes curing illness and fighting off plagues. In combat, they can harness these very plagues to wreak havoc among enemy forces. Witch doctors specialize in magical combat - especially in the school of necromancy - but can heal their allies as well.

Witch Doctor Magic
When you undertake this rite at 3rd level, you gain two cantrips of your choice from the druid spell list. You may exchange one of these cantrips each time you gain a level in this class. In addition, you gain one of the following cantrips of your choice:
draining touch, shadow claws, witch doctor's bolt, or
witch doctor's toxin. This additional cantrip cannot be changed out later except with another on this list.
Powerful Plagues
Also at 3rd level, poison and necrotic damage you deal with spells ignores resistance, but not immunity.
Beginning at 14th level, poison and necrotic damage you deal with spells ignore immunity.
Witch Doctor's Dance
Starting at 7th level, you can hear the whispers of the spirits that instruct you in a dance of power. As an action, you can do a dance of the fallen for 1 minute, causing spirits to whirl around you in a 30-foot radius sphere. A creature within this sphere takes 1d6 additional damage from your spells. Creatures in this sphere additionally regain 1d8 additional hit points from spells you cast or shaman ability you use. You instead deal an additional 6 damage if it is poison or necrotic damage. If the creature you heal is at 0 hit points and dying, they instead gain an additional 8 hit points.
Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.
Life and Death
Beginning at 11th level, you learn to fully channel the forces of life and death in harmony. Whenever a creature within 30 feet of you dies, you may restore a number of hit points to a creature within 30 feet of you equal to 1d6 plus your Wisdom modifier.
Life Siphon
Beginning at 15th level, you become a true master of using the life force of others as your own source of power. When you use your Spirit Siphon ability, you can regain a spell slot of 3rd level or below. When you do, you also regain a 1st level spell slot.
