Ferocious Fighters of the Exiled Lands
The people of the Exiled Lands, a vast desert separated from the mainland, have a varied history. Many insultingly believe Firans to be the Exiled. Criminals, thieves, and unfortunate souls banished to the Exiled Lands. Or, the ancestors of those who were banished. This is often correct. And these banished criminals have impacted Firan society dramatically, transforming it into a den of thieves, bandits, and absolute anarchy.
The true history of Firans goes back much further, all the way to the original survivors of the Great Calamity. Hearing of a mighty warrior in the desert, desperate survivors flocked to his side. That warrior was said to be unbeatable, slaying monster and rival alike. He became the Golden King, with the desert jewel of Gilgalon flourishing around his regal palace.
True Firans are blessed by his power. Inspite of Gilgalon, the Exiled Lands are an anarchist society of roaming bandits, were the strong lead, and the weak just try to survive. They are blessed with incredible martial abilities, or astounding golden beauty. Firans respect strength, they live by a warrior’s code, and revel in hedonistic pursuits like drinking, sex, or acquiring more treasure.

Physical Attributes
Firan heritage has become diluted by the influx of criminals into the Exiled Lands. These criminals originate from all across Aura. Firans however, were blessed by the Warrior Spirit of Aura. Firans are stronger and mightier, like a Demi-god. Broad shoulders, large muscles, golden skin. They are the strongest warriors in Aura, blessed with greater-than-average combat prowess. They’re taller than most, over six feet tall on average. They drink and eat a lot, (particularly alcohol), are said to be great in bed.
Firans have a second distinction. They rival Glasarans in sheer magnetic beauty. Men might have chiselled jaws, wavy hair, beaming smiles, and smouldering eyes. Women, meanwhile, could be born with endless curves, voluptuous beauty, irresistible eyes, luscious lips, and endless legs. Firans come in two shapes. Warriors, or icons of sexuality, more rarely, a mixture of both. A superstition claims, the more alcohol you drink, the more the Warrior Spirit’s blessing will affect your offspring.
To the outside world, Firans and the Exiled are commonly believed to be one in the same. They are not. The Exiled are criminals from across Aura banished to the Exiled Wastes, while Firans originate from the Exiled Wastes. However, because magic and race is based upon WHERE you are born, the child of an Exiled can become Firan, they are simply less likely too.
Culture
Firans culture originated from the great warrior turned Golden King, and later became diluted by the influx of criminals and thieves discarded into their land. The Exiled Wastes respect only strength and power, but do obey rules of honour. You take what you earn through frontal combat. The bigger your Bandit gang, or group, the more power and respect you have. There is only one rule, you do not cross the Golden King, even if many outside of Gilgalon, believe that he is long dead…
Firan society is anarchy. Groups are attracted by the rise of self-described Bandit Kings, gangs who roam the Exiled Lands in search of the many treasures, or simply raiding for pleasures. Firans love nothing more than fighting, drinking a lot, and having a harem. You’re not a Bandit King unless you have a harem. A sentiment passed down from the Golden King, who was said to have the most beautiful women in all of Aura housed within his palace. Sex is a common pass time in the Exiled Lands, and there is very little to worry about as the Exiled Lands produces births at a minute percentage in comparison to Aurans. Firans are warrior hedonists who appreciate all sexes.
Nomenclature
The culture of Firan revolves around titles. Your name is only as important than the feats you have accomplished. Or, as pitiful as the failures you have become renowned for. Firans have no true origin for names. Some names were based off where that child was conceived. But sex became so prolific that later people couldn’t remember. So they started naming children after their favourite drink, or their suitors most attractive body part, or their own! Many are named after weapons. The Exiled might name their child after their home.
Dress
Firans have a wide variety of preferences. As a desert culture steeped in yet-to-be-discovered riches, Firan prowess is worn with pride. High quality silks and steel are sold from caravans in visiting Gilgalon, or are waiting to be stolen in transit. Clothing tends to be loose-fitting, often revealing to excessively revealing. Displays of prowess are paramount, so if you have powerful arms, you have to show them off! Besides, its a desert! Performers will often wear various silks and veils that assist in performances. Warriors prefer breastplates of leather or steel, with skirts rather than pants, in a more Greek-styled fashion. Trophies and treasure adorn armour. Your gang or harem is also seen a part of your look.
