After the great cataclysm many millennia ago, Auran was changed forever. The true mystery of what happened may never be revealed, and the inhabitants of this realm have mostly accepted this as fact. While the world is riddled with magic and monsters, the nations all compete for control and power, to rule the various continents.
After so many years this peculiar world is ripe with adventure with so much to be explored. As all the various peoples have finally settled into a state of "normalcy", many adventurers now set out on their journeys. While the Kings and Queens all compete to rule, the guilds fight their own battles.
