Lich Agamemnon
Agamemnon was once a powerful human wizard who was obsessed with his mortality. He dabbled with life prolonging magic which worked for a while but after a while the magic didn't have any effects on him anymore.
He feverishly researched other methods to stop his aging process when he discovered a way to turn himself into a lich. After several years of research and gathering followers whom he promised to make immortal if his plan worked, he created his Phylactery and Elixir of Defilation.
Once completed and preparations were made, he called all his followers together in a ritual of becoming and drank the elixir in front of them. He fell over dead and his followers waited a few days for him to rise as a lich.
Just as they gave up hope and were about to abandon his dead body, magic energy enveloped him and twisted his body into what it is now. His followers praised him and created a cult dedicated to him. They would follow his every order if he could make them immortal as promised, not wanting them to become as powerful as he was, with his new found power he modified one of his older spells and used it on them. Those touched by his twisted magic got a skin which was pale white and green glowing eyes, their wounds healing quickly once injured and were bound to follow his word or die.
