A powerful human wizard from the islands surrounding the mainland. One of the founders of the Wizards Council.

In the year 323, the Church of Innos found out Aphior was a member of a "Wizards Council", the church of course still keeping in line with its policies from the times of The cleansing of Magic did not want any such councils forming and as such set a trap for him.
The church fought him and captured him, they ended up torturing him to find out the names and location of the other members. Aphior however believed in the council and what it stood for and as such stood his ground and spat in the inquisitors faces as he was being tortured. They didn't get a single piece of info out of him and ended up torturing him to death in a futile attempt to loosen his tongue.
