Causes
The bacterium enters the body through open wounds or by ingesting contaminated solids or liquids. Once the bacterium takes hold it spreads rapidly throughout the digestive tract and blood stream.
Symptoms
Bloody and/or watery stool, dehydration, sweating, weakness of the body and inability to focus.
Treatment
Tea made from Arrow root must be taken several times a day with sufficient rest until the disease passes.
Prognosis
Onset of symptoms is within a day or two, taking a couple of weeks to recover on average with treatment.
