They are intelligent enough to be able to mine and shape metal, however the way they live doesn't require this so the only metal they use is what they have traded for with the more "civilized" races.

When first meeting someone, Centaurs raise their right hand and show their palm to the person they're meeting.

Common Dress Code

Centaurs don't wear much clothing, they usually wear a simple piece of clothing on their upper body in the colder months.

Culture and Cultural Heritage

These people are very in tune with nature, they see themselves and other living things as an extension of nature. They deeply respect the plants and animals, when gathering or hunting they only take what they need and make sure to disperse the seeds of what they are eating along their routes. They have basic leather tents that they carry with them to each new location they stay at, they play music made from pan flutes, simple drums and tapping sticks.
The tribe usually sits together at night at their bonfire, making music, eating and telling stories.

History

Throughout history these people have lived a simple tribal life in tune with nature. Only using what they need to survive and moving from place to place to lessen the impact their tribe has on the area.   They don't form nations, cities or borders. Their numbers are low and their impact on resources is even lower so the other more "civilized" races don't really care too much if a tribe of centaurs lives in their region.

Common Myths and Legends

They have some myths and legends that are passed to their children via stories that they tell each other at night when the tribe sits together at their bonfire.
Some of these legends are the following:
The Tale of the Spirit Guardians: According to this legend, powerful spirit guardians were appointed by the Great Spirit of Nature (which possibly might refer to Adanos) to protect the sacred places of the land. These guardians were said to take the form of majestic animals such as the Eagle, Bear, Wolf, or Snapper. The legend tells of their battles against malevolent spirits and their role in maintaining the balance between the spirit world and the physical realm.   The Tale of the Shape-shifting Shaman: This legend revolves around a powerful shaman who possessed the ability to transform into various animals. The shaman used their shape-shifting abilities to communicate with the animal spirits and gain their wisdom. The tale emphasizes the importance of harmony between centaurs and nature, teaching respect for all living beings.   The Legend of the Whispering Woods: This myth tells of an enchanted forest where the trees possess voices and communicate with each other in a soft whisper. The legend states that those who enter the forest with pure hearts can understand the messages and guidance whispered by the trees. It is said that the forest protects its visitors and grants them wisdom and clarity.   The Tale of the River Nymph: According to this legend, a graceful mermaid resides in a mystical river. She is known for her mesmerizing beauty and melodious voice. It is said that anyone who hears her enchanting song is granted blessings of abundance and prosperity. However, those who disrespect or harm the river and its inhabitants will face her wrath.   The Myth of the Sky Dancers: This legend revolves around celestial beings that inhabit the skies. These ethereal creatures, resembling radiant beings with wings of vibrant colors, are believed to bring good fortune and blessings. It is said that during moments of great joy or celebration, the Sky Dancers descend from the heavens and grace the festivities with their graceful presence.   The Tale of the Star Path: This myth speaks of a hidden trail of shimmering stardust that stretches across the night sky. It is said that those who can decipher the constellations and navigate the celestial map can embark on a mystical journey along the Star Path. This journey leads to a realm of ancient wisdom and hidden knowledge, where the secrets of the universe are revealed.   The Legend of the River's Song: According to this myth, every river has a unique song that echoes through its waters. The legend suggests that these melodies hold the stories and memories of the land and its inhabitants. It is believed that skilled musicians or poets who can replicate the river's song will gain a deep understanding of the river's history and its connection to the land.
