After seeing her grandmother suffer from weakness and illness which was brought about due to her old age, Clarissa used to be scared of getting older and dying of age. Then one fateful day as she was in the small town library an old wizard approached her. He told her that he found a way to make people immortal, he just needed a bit of help with his magic research.


Never having been in contact with magic before but having heard stories about its wonders and possibilities, she was intrigued so she followed the wizard and saw his books and scrolls; a smile came over her lips knowing the possibility of living young, forever is close. All she had to do was help this wizard, so she did.
Once the wizard managed to turn himself into a lich, she was one of the first to be touched by his magic and turned into a thrall of his.
