Danevin

The Kingdom of Danevin.

Structure

Lead by a King, under him are his Counts and under them are the Barons. Mayors are in charge of the more detailed things such as housing, resource production and so on.

History

In 113, the Shield of Family Dawne was created.   In the year of 651 The Shield of Family Dawne went missing along with the king of Danevin, there have been rumours of it appearing in various parts of the kingdom for decades but most of these rumours turned out to be false while others were never investigated.   In 937, the baron Darius Dawne heard about The Shield of Family Dawne having been sighted in the south of Danevin and went to search for it. Darius Dawne went missing and was never heard from again.   Manwin son of Kentish drives the split of Norevin from Danevin in a civil war in 956.   In March of 1003, The Shield of Family Dawne was located in an old crypt in The Cursed Forest. It was then recovered by an adventurer and delivered to the baron of Norevin, Manwin Dawne.   Having The Shield of Family Dawne in his possession now, Manwin Dawne managed to convince the majority of the lords of Danevin to join him and remove Hagen Dawne from the throne of Danevin.   Danevin is now under the control of Lord Manwin Dawne, ending the long civil war. He decides to keep Danevin its own territory for now instead of merging it with Norevin or vice versa.   In April of 1003, Lord Manwin Dawne was murdered by the adventurer Hikairi.   As Lord Hagen Dawne is the next of kin to Manwin, he is now the baron of Danevin again.   In August of 1004, the pact of Ledos fell apart. All lords decided to turn their territories back into Kingdoms. This one included.
