Huldra

A huldra is a creature that strongly resembles a human female.
They are known to possess magic that can affect the mind of sentient beings.
One huldra can be vastly different to the next in terms of behaviour and mentality. There have been reports of some huldras assisting charcoal burners and wood cutters with their work as long as they leave some food for them, while other reports are talking of huldras seducing and leading men off into the forest where they are never seen again after. There are even rumours of huldras luring people to sources of water or objects with a mirror like surface, once their victim looks into this mirrored surface, the huldra can take on their appearance at will and the victim doesn't recognize their own face anymore.
