Personal history

Was born into a poor millers family. He was an accident and unwanted.
Throughout his early life his father made him work hard and physically abused him at the smallest mistakes he made. At the age of 19 he ran away from his home with nothing more than an apple. He wandered around the countryside for a year, foraging to survive.
On his 20th birthday he was about to get mugged by a group of bandits, after seeing how poor he was they instead let him join them. He stayed with the bandits for 4 years but didn't like the violence the bandits committed, so one day he ran away in the middle of the night. Starving and begging on the side of a country road, a cleric took pity on him and took him to a small monastery in the then kingdom of Danevin.
Udar started believing in Innos and became a powerful cleric after studying for 8 years.
After deciding to become a wandering cleric to spread the word of Innos and cleaning the land of evil monsters for 9 years, he settled down in Bersipool with a young woman to start a family. Together they had 2 children, a girl and a boy.
10 years later, there was talk of a demon rising from a ritual that followers of Beliar had performed nearby. Hearing this, Udar decided to investigate. He found that the demon was a direct servant of Beliars with plans to destroy as many villages as it can to kill as many humans as possible. After 2 years of studying and searching for a way to destroy this evil being, he found a magic amulet in a deep cave that is said to be able to destroy any physical being at the cost of the wearers soul.
Realising this was the only way to stop the demon, he prepared himself to fight it and use the amulet. He wrote a note in the middle of the night for his family, telling them the location of the treasures he buried from when he was adventuring to secure their livelihood.
Upon challenging the demon, it appeared in front of the town, 120 ft. tall, Udar acted quickly, walking up to it and using the amulet.
The demon disappeared in a strong glowing light and Udar's body fell lifeless to the ground. The people realised what had happened and built him a small memorial in his honour. The church decided to elevate him to a saint and named the monastery he served at after him. The amulet he used has been brought to that very monastery.
His wife and kids moved to a different town after these events and no one really knows what became of them.
