Tanila Fenlynn

She was an elven adventurer that saved many people from terrible monsters back in her day.
She was widely celebrated as a hero in Stemere until time made the people slowly forget about her.

Personal history

She was born in the Barony of Stenmere to her two Elven parents, Revalor and Saida.
She had a rather normal childhood but was often bullied for being an elf which led to her being a loner with few friends.
Eventually when she was old enough to leave home she became an adventurer. She started out doing small jobs such a driving wolves away from sheep for farmers and escorting merchant caravans.
She took on harder and harder jobs over time. Eventually in 581 she met a Human called Cedric who joined her as her companion.
The two eventually fell in love.
One fateful day Tanila and Cedric took on a job to clear out some Beliar cultists. Everything went well until Cedric was shot in the back with a crossbow by one of the cultists. Tanila cut the cultist down and ran back to Cedric.
Being out of health potions there was nothing she could do, she tried to help him using her left over bandages but the wound was too deep and Cedric slowly lost his grip on his life. When he finally went limp in Tanila's arms she got up with tears streaming down her face, she looked at the cut down cultists and found one that was still breathing, she forced the cultist to summon a Demon.
Tanila sold her soul to resurrect Cedric.
When the ritual was over she ran over to Cedric who was just regaining consciousness. As she was holding him in her arms with tears of happiness, the cultist she forced to perform the ritual hobbled over behind her and plunged a dagger in her back. Cedric got up and wrestled the cultists to the ground, disarming him and killing him. When Cedric returned to Tanila she was dying, he was holding her still not having fully processed what happened. She slowly died in his arms, happy that at least her love gets to live on, not caring of the fate that awaited her in the afterlife.
Cedric carried her body all the way to her parents home and buried her together with them.

Her soul was being tortured for centuries in the underworld before her soul was bound to a Warrior Rune in early 1004.
