Tomb Rot
This disease is particularly found and spread by would-be adventurers and inexperienced grave robbers.
Infection is a tell-tale sign to healers that their patient is likely a criminal who is guilty of at least attempting to rob the dead of their jewels and belongings. Worse still, Tomb Rot is also passed by the corruptive touch of undead creatures, their filthy weapons, claws and nails harboring this disease.
Transmission & Vectors
It is spread by skin contact with infected individuals or materials.
Causes
Once skin contact has been made the bacteria enters the body through the skin and metabolises quickly once in the bloodstream.
Symptoms
Light fever, nausea, sores appearing on the skin and existing wounds not healing.
Treatment
A skilled apothecary must prepare a tincture that the afflicted must take 4 drops of every morning until symptoms pass.
This tincture is made by careful preparation of Blue bulb, Firenettle and Golden crown.
Great care must be taken when preparing this as the wrong quantity of Blue bulb may cause the death of the patient. If left untreated the disease will seemingly go away after a year and the afflicted becomes a carrier for this disease, their saliva and blood harboring this disease.
