Urist Oakshield
Urist was born in the dwarven fortress of Polihaf which is in the dwarven barony of Rikkanesh. He is a strong looking Dwarf with shoulder long, dark brown hair and a thick long beard which he he sometimes braids into double braids.
His parents are Dwalin Oakshield who is a member of the fortress guard and Yolanda Oakshield who works as a gem setter.
Urist has two brothers called Bidok and Andri which are working in the mine in Polihaf.
During most of his life so far, Urist was assisting his mother with her work, in his off time he trained with his father and learned about the world.
Eventually he got tired of seeing the same old fortress all his life so he decided to become an adventurer, gain vast amounts of gold and then retire some day.
In the year 1001 he started adventuring, mainly in the human lands.
He travelled far and met many different people of different races, widening his horizon of knowledge and improving his view of elves.
He completed various quests and became a gold rank adventurer, he slew many beasts and helped various people and settlements.
However the life of an adventurer is tough and dangerous and as such he has lost a few good friends. Being a Dwarf social connections are stronger and this hit him hard.
Eventually during one of his adventures in early 1004 he himself fell to a beast and he joined his ancestors in the afterlife; he was then pulled back to the world of the living by being resurrected. He is partly shaken by this experience and shortly after decided to return to his mountainhome of Polihaf in the barony of Rikkanesh and joined his two brothers as a miner, at least for now.

He has a long curved scar on the left side of his forehead which he got during a fight with a Troll that he had slain when he first started adventuring.
