Political event
Laighenlia and Fergalai made peace on the 6th of August of 1004.
Baroness Catherine Torbin moved from the capital to combat the forces of Fergalai that have been invading Laighenlia.
As she and her army got ready to attack, an envoy from Fergalai arrived at her war camp.
The envoy carried an invitation to speak about a peaceful resolution. The talks are to be carried out between the Baroness herself, her general, Prince Hebedir Gaeth and his general.
Baroness Catherine Torbin accepted. She met with Prince Hebedir Gaeth who welcomed her with a warm smile and a polite demeanour. They discussed the terms for peace for several hours.
Prince Hebedir Gaeth wants Laighenlia to surrender the southern regions that current make up the Plains of Victory and all people who currently live there must leave.
In return the forces of Fergalai would pull out of Laighenlia and a declaration of peace will be written and signed that gives both sides' word to hold the peace for 200 years from today. Additionally the declaration of peace must be renewed by the current rulers of Laighenlia and Fergalai every time it expires. It is to be renewed in the royal palace of Fergalai.
Baroness Catherine Torbin, though against the advice of her general, accepted the terms and signed the Declaration of Peace a day later once it was drawn up.
Fergalai kept the original and a copy was made for Laighenlia.
Once both sides were happy, the forces of Fergalai left and Baroness Catherine Torbin sent word to inform the lord and citizens in the Plains of Victory to leave the area at once as it now belonged to Fergalai.
