Mt. Gwalchmei
Gwalchmei is the tallest mountain on the continent of Aurelia. Theres a rumor that connects the mountain to Bredbeddle, the green moon. Long ago there were a variety of druidic rites performed on it's peak, a site of immense power and with an unusually powerful ley line.
The legend of the moon and the mountain does seem to hold some truth. It is said the mountain holds the knight who created the moon from cutting off the head of the green knight. Every month the moon seems like it hovers over the mountain, looming and angry. There is even a rumour that you can reach the moon from the mountain's peak, although no one knows how.
The mountain is both the home to one of the Dawnflower's larger temples on Aurea, and the site of her resurrection as the Evening Sun. This has led to some tension as the worshippers of the Goddess in her former aspect hold onto there home, and her adherents to the Goddess of Vengeance she has become, tend to clash.
Currently, this temple stands as a beacon of light across the lands of Aurelia, welcoming all whom seek the light or redemption. Despite the changes Sarenrae herself has undergone, the temple holds fast to it's mission of mercy and redemption, despite the ardent efforts of many of her new followers to claim it in the Evening Sun's name.
Although many of the remaining disciples of the old Sarenrae call this place home, they rarely can be all seen in the halls of the temples, as they travel the world spreading the teaching of the Dawnflower and assisting common folk. And far fewer follow her now, but despite this, the temple holds out hope that one day, somehow, the Evening Sun will rise as the Dawnflower once more.
Ritual Circle - The location of the ancient druidic rites that were once carried out, and peak of a potent ley line, this circle was corrupted by devils during their spell to blot out the sun and destroyed to avoid it being used so again. Still, the circle and its power is still present, and could be used again...
