Episode 24: Through the Fiery Straits

General Summary

Our heroes successfully evade the Sahuagin patrols and have made their way further North. Along the journey they enjoyed nights of games and shows with the crew, conversation and a relatively quiet journey as they draw closer to the Fiery Straits. Following the shortcut advice of a young Cliff Racer. The Naiad decided to go directly through the Fiery Straits, an exciting fast water adventure. Driving between volcanic pillars, powering through whirlpools of fast moving water. Deep into the fog and past serpent like creatures, the crew worked together and used their talents in unison to evade the dangers of the Fiery Straits. Shaving several days off the journey and made finding the remnants of the Emperor of The Waves a lot easier. Following the trail of ripped apart driftwood they find the final resting place of a dying Emperor. stuck within the volcanic rock and coral of the Straits. Not safe for the Naiad to approach any closer without risking the Naiad too being stuck. The crew prepare to board the Emperor and acquire the salvage they were contracted to find. Basic investigations reveal that the Emperor is covered in deep thick webbedblack ink. What fate happened to this ship 15 years ago? What about the crew? Is anyone still out there?
