Episode 26: Death of an Emperor Report

General Summary

The Emperor of the Waves the lost ship of 15 years was finally found. Our heroes saw the person behind the death of the crew. a halfling named Krell. Taking orders from some alien entity known as Sgothah conducting an experiment to create a terrible behemoth. Our heroes stopped the halfling who saw Lambert and immediately confused him for Jack Underfoot, Lambert's father. Our heroes clashed with Krell and the failed experiments on board the vessel, Krell managed to barely escape and our heroes were successful in recovering the lost treasure of the Emperor, a strange sleek heavy blue box that pulses with life. Another interesting observation about our dear Lambert Underfoot, since the party has known him he seems to have memory lapses in the heat of combat, even having a different sounding voice. Konna took the opprotunity to do an interview in the battle. The voice said his name was "Victor Chornov" not Lambert, a thick dwarvish accent was heard nothing like the charming halfling voice they knew and loved. Maybe the lightning strike that hit Lambert was more than a simple scar on the face for our hero of Uppershire. But when things couldn't get worse, a powerful gigantic orca attacked the vessel, the creature mutated by some strange means giving it tentacles, a powerful mandable and 6 glowing yellow eyes and thick armored blackened skin. The creature seemed to command the very weather as it seemed blindly intent on destroying the Emperor of the Waves. What sort of creature is this? What happened to it and why was it so fixated on the Emperor? Too many questions and not enough time as our heroes escaped with the box as the ship was destroyed around them. The storm has caused the Fiery Straits to live up to their name as fire has begun to erupt around our heroes and the Naiad. They got the treasure, can they get out alive? This strange pulsing box of a fortune, will it attract unwanted attention? Find out next time!
