Episode 28: Home and Farewells Report
General Summary
Our heroes are finally making their way back to Dugang. A home away for home for most of our heroes out on the frontier. The journey back was, interesting, strange sights and mysterious deadly monoliths that tempt greed. Decrypting the strange ramblings of Krell's journal, revealing that the crazed halfling has had diplomatic dealings with the Sahuagin as well as declaring that Jack Underfoot had betrayed him and broke his word.
But they finally arrived to the familiar harbor of Dugang. Mr.Yoon their benefactor paid them and even included a bonus for their speedy delivery. The strange blue box out of their hand, and a fresh chest of coin to sate their appetite, things are starting to go good for our heroes, now known as the Foursaken.
It was bittersweet, their teammate and enigmatic surgeon Konna Krullex disappeared a day after port. writing a letter that he would beg them farewell, he wished his friends success but his focus was to go and finish his personal quest in Loschea. His cut of the job money to support his journey he decided to leave on his own. His loss will be felt but the Foursaken will carry on.
The Sapphire Light recognized their great achievement in the slaying of two young black dragons, they have been recognized as real hunters achieving the Hunter Rank 2. Larger game awaits them and social standing.
The scene of Dugang is changing, Kitsune guards are being replaced by Dirge Monk Warriors. The great influx of the economy likely a factor and the recent large scale events such as the Valithor family apologizing to Calenden and the stepping down from position of Breaton Valithor are likely contributors to this new change.
That is not all, a band of Warforged Knights have been spotted in Dugang and they are searching for Valcore. While the Foursaken are enjoying the spoils of their victory, there is still tension on the horizon. What will they do next?
