William Dreamurr found himself accepting a dinner date invitation with Xendros Tajakari, what he didn't quite expect was the choice of restaurant. He found himself shifting planes to another world. The World of Elemental Fire. In the fabled city of over 4 million, the City of Brass.   Such a trip was an educational trip for William, but he also learned unique aspects of the Ishvala, their servitude to the powerful Efreeti, fire elementals powerful enough to grant wishes. William learns that Xendros is a servant of an exceptionally powerful Noble Efreet named Saladin. She also revealed her interest in William because of his command of the lost science of humanity, Chronugy the ability to bend and command time. It is her hope to unlock his potential is a key to helping her and her tribe. She told William that much of the destroyed libraries of Schrade and Saxon-Oddessus(the former human capital cities) contain secrets of Chronurgy, one such library data has been stored in a vault within the City of Brass, when William is ready she will help him break into the vault and copy that information.  But in the meantime she gave him a discounted souvenir, a means to access the Planar Library and ask an important question when he needs it.    The rest of our heroes were fast at work with their personal business in Dugang. Lambert in turn investigating the assassination of his friend Wardell, and coming to truth that it was indeed Tailiya who acted in behalf of the Black Lotus, the Dynasty's League of Assassins'.   Valcore wants to make himself known to the nobles of the land, if he is to get the influence and power he needs to reclaim his honor and to free his people, he must be recognized. And if he wants to learn more from the Calenden House he needs to meet them himself. So for two weeks he has done the customary thing for a foreign noble, to engage with the local populace and live an aristocratic lifestyle to generate attention and respect of those in Dugang. Valcore is learning however that his actions tend to carry unforseen consequences, he has a mindset of perhaps portraying himself as a different person once they leave Dugang to Kharguk, if he can maintain his guise he might be able to walk to the front door of his homeland and find the frank truth of what sort of machinations his "friend" Cayde has been up to.
