Episode 40: Counterattack Report

General Summary

Last we left our heroes they managed to find a semblance of rest within Khundrukar, with half of them able to rest and recover while the other half protected them and successfully warded them from any potential patrols. Through stealth and cunning they proceeded on a counterattack of Khundrukar, while they were able to get the upper-hand on several patrols the fortress was still in high alert. They found themselves separated as a portcullis falls between them. Tailiya embracing her inner beast and going on a deadly rampage. Oceanus innacting vengeance through his bow and Valcore covering the other side as a bulwark. William instinctively protecting the weakened Winterfell. The orcs could quickly see that this group was different, they had a glint of fury and heroism in their eyes. With a few moments passed the orcs call off the attack. Declare that Umbra wishes to see them. There they meet the Nameless Lord. an old orc of long gray hair and blackened scale armor. Wielding a terrible blade, obsidian steel and shimmering with a purple energy emitting a dreadful aura. The orc merely said he caused his campaign against the countryside, established a deal with Nightscale, all for a singular purpose. to attract someone powerful enough to kill him.
