Episode 45: The Sinkhole Report

General Summary

Our heroes recovering from the excitement of the past hour. Managed to rest up a bit. Well most of them as William stayed with Tailiya, forced to be separate as the overwhelming force of Umbra makes rest difficult. Exploring the Sinkhole they managed to uncover a flooded room filled with poisonous water. Valcore explored the room and uncovered a deactivated dwarven construct. The construct seemed to be missing a control key to command it. Valcore uncovered some useful things and with that information it might come useful down the road. As they explored deeper they were unfortunate to find the Rock God that the troglodytes worshipped. A Roper that was hidden in the ceiling. It's impressive and terrifying reach of its tentacles. The party through teamwork and bravery bested the creature. Although exhaustion and dealing with the rapid water was a side consequence. The party found the remains of an old dwarven prison. They found one of the guards, surely dying of the starvation rotted in the corner of a cell with a dwarvish key of geometric design. This will surely lead them closer to where Durgeddin should be. Not only that, a great bit of treasure was spilled from the insides of the Roper, including a ring of spell storing. With new treasure and rewards and a key. All signs point that they are nearing the end of this twisted dungeon!
