Episode 52-53: Dundorma, Shopping, Hunting, Answers
General Summary
Our heroes earned some much need rest and break in Dundorma. Where they spent much of their time to retrofit the Naiad, go on some expeditions. Get familiar with the city. And investigate.
Tailiya went to see Professor Renshi Harlock, a chief researcher in the Wycademy of the Sapphire Light in Dundorma. There she learned about the nature of the Shivering Isles, otherwise known as the Feywild and Shadowfell. A Realm that used to exist on the Summerwild and was broken and fractured into a place of madness, mania and dementia mark the isles, visitors who come, often do not remember their experience. Some that return come back in a vastly different time than when they entered, from mere minutes to entire years of time dilution.
Afterwards she reached out to Kin Li, the administrator of the House of War of House Drakken in Dundorma. There she learned more about her brother Sailith, his Long Winter war history, the reasons behind his being dishonored and stripped of his military status. Kin Li used to serve alongside Sailith and Vivec Senior, the three were an inseparable trio. Kin Li sensed the killer instinct behind Tailiya's eyes, reminding him of "The Shadow Dancer" Sailith.
Winterfell had a one on one conversation with his patron. Celeste. Celeste expressed her concern about Winterfell's reconnection to the memories of his Quori, the alien symbiote within the deep recess of his mind. Mentioning that such a connection is dangerous and that he is better off without the assistance of the Private Sanctum that William uses.
William went to the Silverflame Compound in Dundorma, being marked as a lycanthrope was a bold strategy, the Housemaster of the Silverflame's curiosity was peaked. And judging from recent reports of a noble couple that got lost in the woods and mauled by a weretiger was a timing he couldn't ignore and requested the party's assistance in finding the rogue tiger. Mentioning that non natural borne lycanthropes are often uncontrollable and often rabid which eventually drive the human side to madness.
Also the mentioning of Dreamurr pulled up information regarding William's very own sister. Apparently the weretigeress has set up a thieve's guild underneath Dundorma, the self proclaimed no crime city. Obviously the city wants to maintain its status and with reports of a strange relic within the city that has been disturbing rest. The idea was pitched to set up a mock auction to lure the thieves and catch Willaim's Sister.
Will they succeed? Find out next time.
