Out of the Ashes of War, Dynasty

Throughout most of Auriga's known history organized society has been in a frequent flux, the races often not being able to hold a long lasting alliances, frequent wars and political upheaval especially with the greedy pursuit of ancient relics and power that is contained in the lost dungeons of the planet.
After the worst of Auriga's wars "The Long Winter" the world was plunged the world into war. The first true world war around Auriga, it seemed the entire land was plagued by conflict, no clear sign of victory. Humanity was a force of technology and superiority. Most of the Dwarves fled to the snow capped West to avoid conflict. And faction and kingdom fought amongst themselves. Until suddenly Humanity's kingdom was no more. Vaporized in a flash of brilliant light, the land representing the once mighty human kingdom, now a desolate wasteland known as the Mourning Ashlands. And at that moment the war ended, a declaration of peace was signed and the Long Winter had finally ended. But its scars would remain on Auriga for the centuries to come. 
The races and factions continued to be divided in ideals until Syunyu Kaishen, a High Elf born to an unknown family, he rose to power through the ashes of a Great War that plunged society in darkness. With conquest and diplomacy, he united the Elves and Dragonborn by means of a lifedebt, for as long as Jade blood remained in power then the Dragonborn would serve. Then for the first time Elves would take command over the races of Auriga, with the formidable and honorable Dragonborn, this new Jade Dynasty would be a force of prosperity and glory over the continent of Summerwild.
Lord Kaishen established Great Houses throughout the territory, as a means to allow the many diverse races in Auriga could remain a sense of independence and not a complete elimination of culture as past leaders attempted. The Great House pledged loyalty to the one they would later call Jade Emperor. The Great Houses were able to master and tap into the pure raw pockets of Ether that exists in the Summerwild, making their power and might unquestioned, while backbiting and wars among the houses can be common. Ultimately they will bow to the Jade Emperor whenever the order is tested beyond it's limits. Also among Emperor Kaishen's disposal is the Black Lotus, Dynasty Assassin's led by the enigmatic "Death's Hand" Which enforces the Emperor's will and helps keep the Great Houses from going beyond their station.
For over 220 years the Jade Emperor ruled the lands of the Summerwild. Though the wounds of the Last War still echo in the lands, stability and fortune can be seen, the loss of the human kingdom of the Delian Order  has slowed much of the technology and discovery of Auriga. However the pillars holding the Dynasty and its massive Capital and surrounding Great Houses hold strong. Attaining Nobility and a Name is most important. These can be gained from the blood of a Great House, or it can be earned through value and effort. This sense of honor through community has been the foundation of the Dynasty. While not without its flaws, the Summerwild has not seen a greater empire since the Eternals governed the world.
