Session 13: Alliance of Sea and Land Report

General Summary

Our heroes successfully thwarted the Sahuagin assassination attempt on Queen Othokent. They questioned the surviving Sahuagin, revealing that beings of primordial origin, before Elves arrived to Auriga would return and that the sea would claim even the Summerwild. The name they used of one was Sgothgah. A strange name of a strange unknown history. That spells trouble but trouble perhaps beyond our heroes goals and scopes for the time being. The Sahuagin attacked prompting Konna to put it down with a vicious psionic attack. A strange voice prompts up from him "Leadership should be the one to die, this was wasteful." As a symbol or respect and honor Queen Othokent bestowed the party one of her royal rings, a ring of waterwalking a sign to all lizardfolk that these warmbloods, belong to the Dunwater Clan Speaking of Black claws... Sauriv the Minister to the Queen informed the party of perhaps working together with the party to one day free them from the leadership of "Blackclaw", fearing the time to rid the divide between the Queen and the religious party led by the Vizier is coming soon. The aquatic alliances were pleased to offer assistance and business potential with the party, offering elite crew and marines to the party and now the Sea Ghost left fully stocked and ready to go. They reported their findings to the Town Council, two lizardfolk emissaries will handle the discussion from here and the Council find themselves trusting and now relying on this band of heroes. Gellan Primewater invited them to join him on a relaxing cruise and to train the party better seamanship. They met their handler, Sophie of the Sapphire Light, who can help arrange hunts for them and help them better equip themselves from the beasts they slay. Valcore received 4 messages from his friend. Cayde, surviving the fateful night that transpired on Valcore's wedding day, usually a cheerful and loving to joke with Valcore, was anything but jovial. He insisted that Valcore keep a low profile and stay away from Ivar and that Cayde himself was being pursued. Valcore also learned that Tailiya has another half, she is not pure blood Ikaren, but her other half is certainly not something you'd see normally in Auriga. Seeing as she has met or seen her mother before, what a curious secret that even she has no idea about!
