Session 14: Murder on The Primewater Pleasure! Report

General Summary

Murder! The heroes found themselves in a strange and sudden murder mystery. A deep thick impossible to perceive through darkness overtook the banquet hall. A Butler Skerrin stabbed, revivified by the technology and technique of Doctor Wyndham using the diamond of Katarina Delva Calenden, a diamond given to her by her fiance Anders Solmor to revive Skerrin, only for moments later the doctor himself having been poisoned! Being on a ship of nobility is certainly an oddity, with them being encouraged to respect the privacy and personal nature of the many different powerful figures on board. The heroes were not looking to dig into any skeletons and decided the best approach was trying to read the body language and examine the story of the passengers. This was time consuming and night was upon them. Exhausted from their options and feeling stuck in place they decide to take watch in the hallways, trying to see if any possible killer would strike again. Unfortunately it appears through the windows the murderer scaled the side of the Primewater Pleasure and killed Katarina Delva Calenden with a well thrown dagger while her lover and fiance laid sleeping in bed. Waking in horror Anders Solmor screams for help. Valcore and Lambert were first to the scene with the rest of the ship in their wake. Who could have done this? It was clear the real target was the young miss Calenden, not even 24 years olds. Who could have done such a thing?! Before the cruise: Lambert's strange and mysterious Quasit approached him from what could be seen as a heart to heart. Pleading and asking that Lambert will teach him how to be scary! Her master Syunyu Tai recommended that she finished her cup of tea first before trying to keep pour more things on to our agenda. So reluctantly she agreed and went to visit her father Breaton Valithor who requested she make an appearance on Primewater's Cruise ship, completely unaware of her masquerading as Sailith. Which is near the anniversary time of when Sailith died. Somber but willing to maintain his old traditionalist ties agreed to go.
