Session 15: Cat and Mouse Report

General Summary

On the Primewater Pleasure our heroes managed to foil the plans of the murderer, through investigation they found a lot of evidence pointing directly to Gallen Primewater. But through more careful questioning, and careful consideration of the timing of events it seemed too obvious to be Gallen. While Gallen in his panic admitted to having an affair with Katarina Delva Calenden. And also being responsible for the local smuggling operations in Dugang to William and Konna. It was clear that he was no killer. Skerrin Mafeng, the High Elf butler was not a mere butler but a trained assassin of the Black Lotus. His pride and arrogance gave him away and his impatience led him to make some serious mistakes in his plan. His goal was to murder Sailith Algeon Valithor and Katarina. But not realizing that Tailiya Valithor was the target he was seeking. The murderer was apprehended and defeated, while incredibly deadly, had no hope to possibly stop an entire party working together and using each others strengths to pin him down and using Skerrin's strengths against him. Avenging her friend Tailiya lands the killing blow. It seemed like a bitter cruise with nothing but sadness attached to it. William Dreamurr however figured out the answer to an equation. This equation would allow him to Gentle Repose, to preserve the bodies of the 3 slain in perfect state of frozen ether stasis. This would give them the time needed for the healer Shingar Shui to return to Dugang from his trip. In gratitude and thanks for William's saving act. On one night, William walking from Dirge after Gentle Reposing the bodies back to the Sea Ghost for some needed sleep suddenly finding himself standing in a Silence Trap. A silvered crossbow bolt piercing his chest and his mouth being muzzled and chained as a tall bald human figure named Lorenzo, a man who has been hunting William's family for a long time, captured the young Dreamurr.
