Session 21: Building New Bridges, Burning Old Ones

General Summary

It feels like it is a fresh start, and for two of our heroes it is. A new lease on life quite literally has brought them back, but different. During this time our heroes rested, restocked their supplies and made the Naiad seaworthy again hoping to follow up on a mission to retrieve a valuable box from a ship called the Emperor of The Waves that has been rumored to be spotted adrift a few days North. Additionally Tailiya had done more work and came to be more acquainted with the Black Lotus. Valcore received a summons to visit Great Lord Tongpai, the Daimyo had decreed he would offer support to this fledgling Samurai in his efforts to reclaim the Coral Highlands and set the matter straight for his name. If he proves his value to Kitsune by claiming the Forge that has been rumored to be located in the mountains of Kharguk. Valcore in his downtime decided to do research and investigate the Calenden Family, in the end he met a very unexpected person with a very surprising result, but in doing so it might just be what he needs to get his revenge. In sad news, a party contact, Wardell Warrington, a halfling commodore of Primewater's ship was found ripped apart and murdered, apparently working with a Bretonvahn Revolutionist group known as the Golden Grin. William discovered that his father had been indeed working as a member of the Silverflame. He was apart of a secret group of specialists. People who became monsters to fight monsters. Why he did so it is not clear, all that was clear was he talked fondly and openly about his children. Unfortunately the creature that became Lorenzo got to learn about the Dreamur family. William can find some closure that he now understands the reason behind his childhood stalker. But it gives him a new outlook in his life. Where would he go next? Our heroes were tempted by Three Rings offer, after all they needed money. But when it came to their meeting with Eliander it was hard to not be truthful with him when Three Rings has been so deceitful and double tongued to them. Reluctant at first they decided to be honest and tell Eliander the truth about Three Rings and claimed the bounty on the Scarlet Brotherhood pirate. She was completely blinded and apprehended, and our heroes cleverly obtained the map leading to the Blade of Broken Mirrors, well in Eliander's possession but he agreed to let them examine it together with him. Seems like Three Rings had been beaten in her own game. What is awaiting our heroes next as they embark on the next league of their journey and very lives. What will be written next in their heroic chronicle? Time will tell.
