Emperor of Auvia
The Emperor (or Empress) of Auvia is the title of the ruling monarch of the Auvian Empire .
The title is bestowed through a process known as an Electorsmoot, which is an election held among the regions highest lords and religious leaders to determine whom amongst them shall take the throne.
Despite any Elector-Count being a viable candidate for election to the Imperial Throne, almost every Empress or Emperor elected since the Electorsmoot system was instated has been of House Fortuna, with very few exceptions, a point many of the Empire's critics are keen to observe.
The current holder of the title is Emperor Theo III . Emperor Theo has not been legitimized by an Electorsmoot, but instead holds the rank in title only, after the passing of his father, the late Emperor Augastine I the Redeemer.
