Ilangabi

Ilangabi is the singular tradeport in the Kingdom of Luxo, located on the far eastern shores of the Misty Sea, just south of the Old Aethran Wastes.
Renowned for it's decorative glass buildings and miraculous docks, Ilangabi is an entirely unique city, supposedly even among Luxo. It is intentionally built to dazzle, as it is a major center of foreign wealth within the Misty Sea trade network. Within it's markets and holds can a discerning trader find rare spices, magical artifacts dating back to the Age of Dragons, exotic creatures, and dark secrets.
It is a city notorious for it's opportunities to make foreign traders rich, but in any city with a fortune to be made, so to is there danger, for the punishment for any crime or discourtesy in Luxo is payment in blood and thralldom, forcing sentences of temporary slavery onto wrong-doers as recompense. Many a foolish traveler has found themself in the servitude of a local lord for their transgressions, trapped as an indentured servant in a foreign household for years on end.

The exotic Luxan Half-Elves and their Loxodon constructs maintain a carefully curated city for outsiders. The Kingdoms beyond are notoriously isolationist, even in this rare age of international cooperation, and only recently have relations begun to soften enough for even this small amount of contact.
