Chacara

The smell hit him like a warhammer.
“You are not putting that on me,” he declared with a grimace, trying not to vomit.
Alana stared at him. “It is a healing salve that will stop the bleeding, James, yes I am. Quit fussing.”
“Fuck me. That stuff smells like the inside of a Chacara’s arse.”
“How do you know what the inside of such a creature smells like?” she wondered mildly.

Trivia

The Chacara is not picky about finding a mate and will often choose the first suitable partner they find. The young Pho females normally leave their families and live alone when they are mature. They can sprint at 32 mph for up to 20 seconds and can jump up to 4 feet. They are usually found at high altitudes or burrowed deep within dark dungeons and caves where the water is stale. They communicate using a deep lowing sound that has originated many urban myths about ghosts. They will happily take on opponents far larger than themselves. Because of evolution, they can consume toxic substances without harm and their saliva is acidic.
