James Faust

James Faust considers himself a professional businessman. He projects a facade of civility and even friendliness, but in truth, he is cold, ruthless, and obsessed with power. Faust is also very egotistical, stating that he sees himself as a force of nature and a servant of destiny, willing to remake the City into a 'better' place at any cost, regardless of how many lives it takes.
His ultimate goal is the complete subjugation of the City. To achieve this, Faust manipulates individuals from every facet of society, using them for his own ends. Using his abilities, he makes deals with them that fulfil their desires but eventually only lead to despair and suffering. All it costs them is their souls.
To aid him in his goal, Faust has a number of followers that are able to conduct deals on behalf of him, albeit to a more limited scale. These followers include drug dealers, lawyers, and businessmen among their ranks.
After discovering that his step-son, Nalen, possessed powerful reality warping abilities, Faust has focused his attention on bringing him back to his side, willingly or not.
