Kensington

The landscape in these areas is characterised by winding crescent-like streets, large homes and harbourside beaches and shopping villages, with some of the City's most stunning apartments and many other luxurious houses and mansions of wealthy residents located in the region. Opulent bed-and-breakfasts sit alongside the sorts of businesses that open by appointment only, concealing all traces of commerce so as not to offend the sensibilities of the locals. Most of the people around here seem to be professionals in their late 30s and up, though a handful of younger people are also to be seen in the area.
This neighbourhood is also home to the exclusive Kensington College, a private school where the scions of the City's most prominent families rub shoulders. Next to it rests Kensington Gardens, a finely manicued emerald kingdom at the heart of the area.
