The Seventh Deadly Sin

Orthrond Sullivan was the Vassal King of Holdenglade, a vicious man tainted only by greed and progress. He was born into his power, and never worked a day in his life for it. So when he came to Holdenglade's throne in 523 AXR, he had but one goal in mind: to become even richer. Eventually, he accomplished this by mercilessly colonising the tiny mining and fishing villages around the city and using them as objects he could exploit. As well as this, he endlessly abused his own people by overtaxing them to the point where a large percentage of the populace lost their homes. His reign of terror finally came to an end during the Siege of Holdenglade in 529 AXR, in which he was murdered by the Masters of the Nine Elements, the adventuring party responsible for sparking the revolution in his city.
