Angered by Goron's incessant refusal to explain himself, the Masters of the Nine Elements finally pressure him to break, revealing that Elgen Isle is blighted by a disease spreading from the Underdark, which proves that underneath the island is a Planar Gate. The only cure to said disease is a flower, Rasdivis' Lotus, which only grows in the lowermost layers of Byrexior. Trusting Goron's word, the party descend into the gut of the island, and eventually come across a sprawling dungeon, long abandoned. At the centre stands the ruins of a Planar Gate connecting Avalǿn and Byrexior - the Astral Vault. As Donevan steps forward, visions of his past and an alternate future flood to him - warning the party that if Barontyne finds all shattered remnants of the missing sword, Xandria will be unleashed upon the world once again...   22nd April 2023
