Intervention Time! Let's see who told what about their past Alister

• Told the group that he came from a place where learning magic was looked down upon, culturally.
• When he started expressing interest in it, his family shut him down.
• He started studying in secret.
• His father found out and kicked him out of the house.
• He has been traveling ever since and the group is the first thing he has had in a long time that even remotely feels like a family.
• He mentioned, almost as a passing joke, that there is a guy talking to him through his amulet.

Gek

• Gek told the group that he is working for the government of Eberen to uncover more information about the Suncrest family. He was told specifically to go look for a member of the group, although he didn't say who. He told everyone that he wouldn't actively go to get them arrested if they did something illegal and that he was curious as to what the captain from Eberen was doing outside his jurisdiction.

Bombena

• She has no clue what is going on and started going on adventures to kind of find herself. She has no idea what the Rovaloch wanted with her or why it took interest in her and wants to help the party in any way that she can.

Nev

• Nev is an amnesiac. He has no memory of before he went to go to Aya for work.
• He is apparently really good at juggling and can't handle spicy food very well.
• He feels a pull towards the study of life and death and how to renew life or make death more permanent, although he doesn't know why.

Fyuna

• Fyuna is technically a wanted criminal in Stiruk Thein for stealing from a military official who technically stole from her first. She worked in the artificer’s guild there where she worked as a battle smith. While there, she befriended Caloden’s daughter Laila and they built Tipi together along with the trident that Fyuna carries. The trident is also the thing she stole from the military guy.
• She didn't think that the military would be following her and that might be a problem in the future but she isn't sure.

Phoenix.

• Phoenix is technically Undead.
• In his previous life, he was the Queen’s personal guard along with a woman named Meren. He was killed trying to protect them from the Shadow Hoard during the battle of the Azure Veil. He was absent from the material plane for the next fifty years and then found his way back but in the body of a younger version of himself. From his perspective, he has only been back on Avalore for about a year.
• The reason that he got a second chance was that he kind of made a deal with Uranah, the goddess of death, that he would live on a mission to preserve life to the best of his abilities.

Caloden.

• Caloden revealed that he was working to gain intelligence on the Suncrest family.
• He got into the work of intelligence gathering through a friend that was more involved. After a while, the family started to catch up on their trail, and to send a message, they set fire to Caloden’s friend’s house and Caloden got caught in the fallout.
• His arm was damaged in the fire and resulted in amputation.
• Unfortunately, because of the risk that the Suncrest family poses, Caloden chose to fake his death to protect his family, who are all still alive and well.
• Caloden mentioned that he has a living wife and children. Although he only named his daughter, Laila.
• He misses his family a lot and has gone back home on occasion to make sure that they're okay, but he has made sure that no one ever knows that it's him. For all intents and purposes, everyone he cares about thinks he is dead. And has been for a long time.
• Eventually, he wants to be able to go home. Back to his wife and their bakery.
• Over the 50ish years since he has faked his death, he has learned that the Suncrest family is a lot more sinister than the world believes and that if the group sees anyone or anything bearing their crest, then they need to run in the opposite direction.
• Caloden’s friend still brings information from time to time, although his stealth skills have started to slip over the years. He also started working with Aya shortly before the whole group got together because she had some leads about the Suncrest family and their potential connections.
