Confederate Nightwatch

As night falls and the mist settles into The River of Gold, this small, yet elite, group men and women patrol the streets, equipped with the standard hanger-sword and armor. In their offhand, they can often be seen carrying hooded lanterns that cut through the darkness.
In the event of emergency or riot, they have strapped to their backs a unique rifle known as the Watchman Luftgewehr—a pneumatic gun that is much quieter than the average matchlock or flintlock.
