Ochrana

Ochrana is one of the most practiced religions in the Krosian Railway. Its patron deity is Holmme, known to the people as the Saint of Protection, the Brother in Light, or the Great Patriarch.
Historically, the god Holmme—known as Holym to the Castians—was representative of not only power, but the light of the sun and the warmth of prosperity. Krosians pray to Holmme to protect them and their way of life, believing that healing magicks are a boon granted by him. In truth, aetheromancy is a supernatural power native to the people of Avalus, regardless of their faith. Nonetheless, many Krosians believe the successes in their life to be direct a blessing from Holmme.
Holym himself was once a saint who achieved a kind of godhood tens of centuries ago, due to his incredible martial prowess and skill with light-aspected aetheromancies.
