Calendar

The three moons of Avanar move together in cycles. Candra appears by itself for two days a month. Lekha is never seen full by itself, but may be seen by itself in its beginning or end phases. Raka appears over a span of 18 days, appearing in various phases. It is illuminated stark white at its fullest, with its other phases allowing the details of its shimmering surface to be seen.   Candra appears over a span of 16 days, appearing in the sky smaller than Raka but larger than Lekha, and illuminated in shades of light reds and pinks.   Lekha appears for the full 28 days of the month, illuminated in a sickly green, sometimes so faint as to not be seen.
