The Time of Long Shadows
The continent of Avandor is harsh and unforgiving, great swaths of desert fill the interior while the Great Barrier is a long chain of mountains the blocks access to the northern sea. In the south the great desert gives way to grasslands and then lush jungles and deep swamps. To the east is the Janjo sea and the many rivers that feed into it. To the west is the Endless Depths, a vast, seemingly unending ocean.
