The Harvester

I recently had an encounter with a lady selling crystals or some such nonsense. She claimed they could ward off death and bad luck. She was quite persistent about it. Although there was no magic in them, she was so confident and stubborn about it she almost convinced me there was magic. After persisting for several minutes, she finally left after seeing I was not going to buy anything.

However, this encounter has made me ask this question: Do people not understand Death?
