Magic of Death

The magical Phala of death is about stopping movement and decay. Practitioners can put any living thing in a binding spell, which will make it unable to move. Additionally, they can prevent the growth of plants and animals, as well as create temporary fields, where living things will remain unchanged. This is useful for example, when an ally is lethally injured, death magic can be used to keep the patient unchanged until a healer arrives.   When a death magic spell is cast, living things will remain unchanged inside of the area. This can include movement, in which case anything in the area will stop moving. If a living thing tries to enter such an area, it will stop just inside the field and be unable to go back or move further.   Once the spell ends, all movement and change will resume as normal, without any lasting effects.
