Magic of Nature

The magical Phala of nature is about environmental change. Practitioners will change the environment within an area according to their spells parameters. Beginners often learn to change the temperature or to create wind.   When a nature spell is cast, the parameters of the spell will be changed within the area of effect, with no change to the environment outside of it. The duration and area affected, as well as the amount of change, determine the amount of magic needed. The average magic-user can create a spell that lasts for up to an hour with a radius of about three or four meters changing one aspect of the environment, though afterwards, the average magic-user will need to rest and not use any other magic during the day, lest they contract Magical exhaustion.   After the spell ends, the area will be subject to the environment outside again, any change made does last, though will often be immediately altered by the environment. For example, if a nature mage casts a heat spell, when the spell ends the heat will still be there, though the colder environment will quickly dissipate the heat.
