Goldengrove
Goldengrove is a secluded town and the central point of civilization in the Hearthglen Vale. Its is the centre of a sprawling crossroads that connects the dozen or so farming villages and hamlets in the vale. One main road runs North through the Penumbral hills, past Tyranoc's Rise and connects the Vale to the recently founded city of Argent's Gate.
Goldengrove is the main hub of heartland trade and many merchants and farmers will travel to meet several times a year in elaborate feasts and festivals.
The town is also home to groves of Kala fruit, a golden fruit much like a large peach. This fruit is prized by all who can afford it as a delicacy and also for its miraculous revitalising properties. A single Kala fruit will keep a person full and energised for several days. Kala can also be refined into a wine which is a staple among banquets and functions among the nobles and upper class throughout the empire.
The surrounding farms also produce a lot an surplus food which is trades at Goldengrove before being shipped to Argent's Gate and the wider empire from there.
