3. Mama Mudcradle is not quite a hag, not quite a person, not quite a deity. She is something beyond, similar Mother Dread, just on a different scale.
4. There are feyportal-pockets all over Avaros.
5. Some areas in Kator still exude some of the planar off-kilterness due to the Shift. Some of those Distortments can cause malformations in beings, almost like a curruption.
6. Some of these areas, both fey and distorted, attract creatures like a moth.
7. there's a connection to the city ruins under water to Essa & the Yuan-ti
