Secrets & Clues
- Some areas in Kator still exude some of the planar off-kilterness due to the Shift. Some of those Distortments can cause malformations in beings, almost like a curruption
- Some of these areas, both fey and distorted, attract creatures like a moth
The Storm Surges are the result of a... friendly? territorrial fight between water and earth elemental powersthere are hidden caves and niches in the Storm SurgesSome of those caves harbour creatures - and riches- all along the coast are caves and smuggler's dens
- the children of dread have taken over some of the smugglers hide-outs and are trying to gather power and forces
- There are both fey-spots as well as corrupted spots all over the verdant belt
- A necromancer used to live in the Forest of Vae
- Other groups have started to send out scouts to figure out what the hell is going on with Kator
- the water in the cave has some wild magic/weird fey magic stuff
Fantastic Locations
ORDERED:- river bridge leading into cave
- in cave: shrine with puzzle
- through shrine: fey-like location with fruit/berry
- Storm Surges - sharp rocks and cliffs rising from the water like massive waves. many of them made out of aquamarine. low hanging mist always covering them.
- Gordala's Skull - a giant's skull with twisted horns. Overgrown by nature. Surrounded by the sea.
- A patch of thorny heath surrounded by dead blue flowers (it is misty)
- A few mossy oak trees and a mound of logs (there is a flag warning of great danger beyond) -> Corpse Flower
- Several shrines to a healing fey deity (Avaraya) line a river bank. Under a full moon the flow of the water reverses, taking swimmers to another realm.
