Session 4: Muggu the Kobold

General Summary

• Meeting Muggu the Kobold!
• Muggu's been in the cave for a few weeks (he thinks, it's hard to tell time underground), though at first he stayed in the storageroom for a very short time
• he stole stuff to survive (and some because it was comfy, or pretty, or he was bored and needed entertainment)
• doesn't like being down there, because it's cold and lonely (and boring)
• let Mithrayell know, and ask if he can work there (or elsewhere) so he has a place to stay
• offering for him to travel with them instead
• something attacked his clan, but he doesn't know what. doesn't think they're in their mountains anymore. some stayed to fight, telling the rest of them to run.
• Yuki writes a letter to his parents, telling them about his recent adventures
• Heading off into the desert. Khafra reads the map, but should never again be left in charge of navigation (which he's never been before, to be fair)
• Frank really doesn't help.
• orienting themselves with the visual aid of the mountains and stars. Yuki picks a star and travels that direction, Frank's math brain actually calculates and adjusts for the rotating night sky
• Frank builds a very well crafted shelter out of Essa's 2-person-tent - but the tent will never be the same again.
• Ending: standing in front of the Kobold Cave, which is high enough for Sylvester, but the rest will have to walk hunched over
